My Wisteria

This is my Wisteria. I grew it from seed about 12 or so years ago. It has been blooming for about 8 or 9 years now. This is the most beautiful it's ever been.
The secret to get a wisteria to bloom is, give it plenty of sun, don't prune too much and pour the acid fertilizer on it. I did the acid fertilizer for the first 3 or so years and it just keeps getting better each year. BTW, it has never bloomed this early before. It is about a month ahead of schedule.

About Me

Princeton, Kentucky, United States
I live in Western KY which is Zone 6. I am an avid gardener. I do this in my spare time as I am a wife, mother, grandmother to 4 and work full time outside the home. My favorite flowers to grow are unusual flowers, shrubs and bulbs. In the spring I like to spend my weekends visiting nurseries to find unusual things to plant.
